Hi! I’m Shoshana

MA, LMHC

My journey to becoming a therapist has been shaped by personal experiences with emotional and relational challenges throughout my life. These experiences, combined with therapy and personal growth, guide how I work with clients. They help me understand the patterns and challenges that can feel difficult to navigate.

I hold a B.S. in Applied Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Stout (2012) and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas (2018).

My clinical experience spans:

  • Treatment centers for children, adolescents and adults

  • Sober living and halfway housing programs

  • In-home intensive family therapy

  • Outpatient therapy

I am formally trained in DBT, MST, TF-CBT, and SFBT, and have pursued independent study in systems and liberation theories, early developmental frameworks, somatic work, and depth psychology.

My approach to therapy is relational and trauma-oriented. I bring a real, deeply sensitive presence to sessions, noticing how past experiences and current patterns influence emotions, relationships, and responses to life’s challenges. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we explore recurring themes and patterns, make sense of your inner world, and practice strategies to respond differently.

I look forward to meeting and supporting you on your journey toward understanding, connection, and meaningful change.
